I originally come from a small country town where a cow wandering into a pub was not unheard of. Moving to what my sisters affectionally call ‘the big smoke’ changed my life. Discovering LARP was the next big thing. I’d always been interested in Dagorhir and battlesports, something either unheard of or downright ridiculed in my hometown.. But finding the Heroes Odyssey guys was the catalyst that turbocharged my interest in the realm of combat sports and live action roleplay.
Interesting part about these photos were none of them were staged. The photographers all hid in the scrub around the campsite, or otherwise were far enough away that they didn’t pull us out of immersion, while snapping photos. With the exception of Ben (the templar knight) in the last one, they went mostly unnoticed.
