You get to take your OC and become them. How sweet is that?! Your headcanons are now canon. Your ships are now canon. LARP=everything is canon and nothing hurts.
V’tani (my baby) was actually made in the car ride on the way to a Seventh Kingdom event. She was a carbon copy (Troll, Bright Witch, same kingdom) of two existing characters (The Old Man and Ackneminol) because she was their daughter and ex-lover respectively. My first event I was called Girl!Ackneminol for a while.
I ripped V’tani away from the stigma of just being a copy by forcing my roleplay to be better. I started to think like her a lot more often in-game and make new friendships and soon, she was her own entity and people actually wanted to spend more time with her than her ‘originals’. Basically, lots of hard work, research and sticking to my guns when it came to knowing what direction I wanted her to go in. Whoa, lots of words. Thanks again for asking!
